Year 6

You Are Amazing Love Hearts Rainbow Badge : Kool Badges

Summer term 2023!

It has been lovely to welcome the children back to school after the spring break. We are really looking forward to the term ahead as we have lots of exciting learning activities planned.

This term, our history topic is 'It's all Greek to me', where we will be exploring the ancient Greeks, making our own mosaic and clay pot and designing, preparing and cooking our own pasta dish. We will visit The Ure Museum in Reading to help kick-start our new topic. This term will also include our year 6 residential to Bude in Cornwall, where we will have the chance to climb, cave, swim, run, canoe and surf!

We will be outside for all our PE lessons which will include: cricket, rounders and athletics. Our class reader is 'Who Let the Gods Out?' by Maz Evans, where we will follow the adventures of Elliot, Virgo and Prisoner Forty-two.
